So Norma Champion is championing a bill in the MO state legislature which will allow tracking purchases of meth related products throughtout the state of MO. This will allow for police agencies to monitor these people because they just might be starting a meth lab. I can see where this type of legislation is going and it falls right in line with having to show picture identification for cough syrup and name verification if you purchase more than one container of cough medicine.

I wonder if I purchase a nail file in St Louis, a crowbar in Rolla, and a pair of coveralls in Springfield if I would be placed on some sort of criminal watch list for potential burgalaries

information you should know

According to the MO Highway Patrol, the fatalities over the Thansgiving weekend ended with a grand total of 9. According to published reports and ALL the local news coverage 4 people died while NOT wearing seatbelts.
This type of reporting seems a tad backwards since the deaths of people NOT wearing seatbelts are in the minority not the majority. It appears the mass confusion on reporting to mislead the general public still remains job #1 for media outlets and government.

The real story should have been 5 out of 9 people die while WEARING seatbelts, which the conclusion comes quite clear. People wearing seatbelts were 11% more likely to die during holiday travel in Missouri.
